 Props:

Since I am recording a VANS commercial, the main prop will be the VANS shoe. Some other props which will be used are other vans merchandise and my friends Jeep.

Costumes:

In my commercial, the main costumes will be t-shirts, and their shoes. I will be recording while my friend is wearing the product. He will be showing off the product. They will be wearing the product while walking, skating and sitting in his Jeep. The costumes will be VANS apparel because they need to be the focal point of the commercial because it is the brand I am trying to sell.

Schedule:

On 10/23/20, I researched conventions and codes on VANS.

On 10/23/20, I established the props, costumes, schedule, location list and backup plan.

On 10/24/20, I will create the storyboard for my commercial.

On 10/25/20, I will record my VANS commercial using the necessary shots.

On 10/28/20, I will edit my video and add the finishing touches.

Location list:

I will film this commercial while my friend is in the street next to my house. I will film this on the street because there are no skateparks near me. Also a lot of the VANS commercials take place in the streets. This is also a good spot for a VANS commercial. The street is also just a good place to vibe at night.

Backup plan:

A backup plan I have is to just record it at his house on his patio. I would do this in case it rains. I may also do this if it is really nasty or windy outside.

We had to research a genre for this blog. I chose horror. At first I thought I knew a lot about horror. I would soon come to the realization that I was very mistaken. I chose horror for many reasons. Title Research: 30 Days of Night

 From Watch the Titles What titles are displayed during the opening sequences? What images are prioritized in the opening sequence? What connotations do these images carry? How does the film establish a feeling of the genre from the outset? What strategies are used to ensure the film appeals to its target audience? How has technology been used effectively? You want to consider camera angles, transitions and editing techniques. The first thing we see is the title of the movie. This is accompanied by some eerie background music. We then see the director credits. These are followed by the cast. Then the music composers. The images shown are pretty scary. You can tell that they are truly trying to frighten you. Scary images of wolves, children and symbols were appearing. These were all showing a sense of knowing that you are about to be scared. Final Task (Location, Sound, Participants, Health, Schedule)

 For my final task I am making a horror movie. I will be recording my movie at a park. It will be dark. There also will not be anybody nearby. There will be background music to add to the theme of the movie. There will be dialogue between Grant and Clay. There will also be dialogue between Grant and Maria. There will only be three actors in my movie. One being Grant (myself). Clay is the driver. While Maria is the girl being kidnapped. There were lots of health precautions taken to ensure everybody's safety. We will have hand sanitizer available. Masks will also be worn when not filming. We all have also been together multiple times during the pandemic. This is because one is my bestfriend and the other is my girlfriend which is why we have all been together.
