Intro Blog

 For my music video, I am doing White Iverson by Post Malone. I am doing this song because Post Malone is one of my favorite artists. White Iverson is also my favorite song by him. I feel that I can easily do this video because I have easy access to a basketball court. I would do this on a basketball court because the song is talking about how Post Malone is the white Allen Iverson. I will be working with my friend Clay acting in part of it and I will be in part of it. I am choosing to work with Clay because we hang out every weekend and therefore, it will be easy to record. I also play a lot of basketball already so it should make this pretty easy. I also choose this song because when this song came out, I knew it was going to blow up. I had also predicted that Post Malone was going to blow up. I have also been with him since the beginning. Allen Iverson is also one of my favorite basketball players off all time. This is because he was a very controversial player. He liked to talk trash and back it up with his skills on the court. He was also very competitive. I like Post Malone because he is a very vibey artist. He also has a lot of energy. He is also a phenomenal live performer. He is also a super genuine person. He was super nice to the fans when i went to his concert. He stopped to take pictures and sign autographs.

Genre Research: Horror

We had to research a genre for this blog. I chose horror. At first I thought I knew a lot about horror. I would soon come to the realization that I was very mistaken. I chose horror for many reasons. One being because it is one of my favorite genres. Another being that it is very different in the way it it setup from most other genres. Rather than it being light outside, it is usually dark. There are 4 main lighting techniques in the horror genre. These are "uplighting", "spotlighting", "silhouettes" and "underexposure". These help create a sense of fright or gloominess throughout the scenes. There are many different camera angles used in the horror genre.
