Editing Blog
The editing process was fairly easy for my music video. My music video is for White Iverson by Post Malone. Post Malone is one of my favorite artists right now. This is also one of my favorite songs by Post Malone. It took about 30 to edit. It then took about 30 minutes for the video to render completely. I used my friends laptop because he has a MacBook which has IMovie making it easier to edit. It is easier because I have used the software in the past. I used the first minute of the song. I used transitions between each scene. I also used a lot of slow-motion scenes to add to the video. This is because in the original White Iverson, he uses a lot of slow-motion scenes. I also did a lot of the scenes on a basketball court. This is because the song is about Allen Iverson. Allen Iverson was a professional basketball player who is most known for his time with the Philadelphia 76'rs but had stints with the Denver Nuggets, Detroit Pistons and the Memphis Grizzlies. He attended Georgetown University and would ultimately be named to the Hall of Fame. He is considered one of the greatest if not the greatest to play the shooting guard position. I also had to time the lip-sync scenes perfectly with the part of the song in which it corresponds with. This was kind of difficult. This is because it had to be done perfectly. I then just put the song over the entire video.
