 Hi my name is Grant Lamont. This is my Creative Critical Reflection. This explains the process I have gone through during the year and what I have learned.

 Hi, my name is Grant Lamont and this is my movie, "The Kidnapping." The story of a girl kidnapped, tortured and trying to escape it. I hope you enjoy it.

  For the final task we were asked to create the first two minutes to a movie. For the genre, I chose horror. I chose horror because I have researched it all year long. So I figured it would be the easiest choice. I thought this because I have learned so much about it. I also really enjoy horror movies. The name of my movie is "The Kidnapping." It is about a girl who get kidnapped by two men. I had to edit the clips I had. I needed to make them all flow smoothly. This is important or else your film will turn out choppy. A choppy film would never do well in the box office. I also had to cut clips down to make them flow smoothly. I also had to add the background music. I used a suspenseful/horror music. This adds to the overall horror of the scene. I also had to add the title slides. For these I used a black background with red lettering. 

  For the final task we were asked to create the first two minutes to a movie. For the genre, I chose horror. I chose horror because I have researched it all year long. So I figured it would be the easiest choice. I thought this because I have learned so much about it. I also really enjoy horror movies. The name of my movie is "The Kidnapping." It is about a girl who get kidnapped by two men. For the recording, I recorded in a local park. I waited until it was dark to create the perfect scenery. I had my sister film. I acted in the movie. My bestfriend Clay also acted in the movie. As well as my girlfriend Maria as an actress in my movie. While filming we got lots of different shots. One being an over the shoulder shot. Another being a long shot. Those are just a fraction of the shots in my movie. I also had diegetic sound in my film. I have non diegetic sound in my film as well.

While she knows that this is going to be tough, she has to outthink them. The men are fairly large while she is very small. She also has to do all of this while having been tortured. She had been tortured throughout the entire time she was there. This movie is considered to be a gruesome horror movie. A movie that makes your stomach turn.  For my final task we were asked to create the first two minutes to a movie. For my movie, I am choosing the horror genre. This is because of how much I have learned throughout the year on the genre. I chose to name my movie, "The Kidnapping." It is about a girl who is kidnapped by two men and tries to escape their powers. I filmed on the day of March 28, 2021. I filmed at a nearby park. I also wanted it to be dark to add to the horror esthetic. When filming we took proper safety precautions due to the Covid-19 pandemic. There was hand sanitizer accessible at all times. There were also masks worn when not recording. This was important due to the close proximity of the actors. The entire filming process took about an hour and a half to two hours. The editing process took a little longer however. This took about three days. This is because I wanted to make sure it looked good. I also asked some friends for feedback after I finished editing the video. They all gave good feedback...

 My movie starts with all of the title slides. This will be a black background with red lettering. The film will show Clay and I kidnapping Maria. This is followed by us rapidly driving away. She begins to panic and try and escape however, there is none.

 For my final task I am making a Horror film. This is because I have studied this genre all school year. I also feel comfortable making this film. None of my titles will be played over the film because I feel it will take away from the overall film. The slides will all be a black background with red writing. This will help to create the suspense and horror needed to introduce the film. The first title shows my production studios, G RIZZ STUDIOS. Next is the production company, G RIZZ COMPANY.  For my final task I am making a horror movie. I will be recording my movie at a park. It will be dark. There also will not be anybody nearby. There will be background music to add to the theme of the movie. There will be dialogue between Grant and Clay. There will also be dialogue between Grant and Maria. There will only be three actors in my movie. One being Grant (myself). Clay is the driver. While Maria is the girl being kidnapped. There were lots of health precautions taken to ensure everybody's safety. We will have hand sanitizer available. Masks will also be worn when not filming. We all have also been together multiple times during the pandemic. This is because one is my bestfriend and the other is my girlfriend which is why we have all been together.
